
Return Policy
We want returns to feel calm and clear — not stressful.
RyKier is a small studio, so we keep a few simple rules to protect both you and the pieces we create.
1) Calm Returns (30 days — returns only)
• You can return an eligible item for a refund within 30 days from the day it is delivered.
• We do not offer exchanges. If you’d like a different piece (or a different size), please return your item and place a new order.
2) Eligibility & condition (must be like-new)
To be eligible for a return, the jewelry must be:
• Unworn — you may try it on briefly indoors, but it should show no signs of everyday wear.
• Undamaged — no scratches, dents, chips, missing stones, bent ring shanks, or similar damage.
• Unaltered — not resized, polished, engraved, or modified by any third party.
Note: Resizing support (if applicable) is handled separately — see Repairs & Resizing.
• Clean and in original condition — free of residue, spots, grime, perfume/oils, etc.
• Returned with original packaging.
We carefully inspect every returned piece. If it does not meet these conditions, we may have to decline the return.
3) Proof of purchase
For any return request, please include:
• your order number and the name/email used at checkout.
4) Refunds (how they work)
• Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment.
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
• If you used a discount code, your refund reflects the price paid.
• Taxes (if collected) are refunded according to your checkout and local rules.
Return shipping:
• USA (using our prepaid label): $9.99 will be deducted from your refund.
• International: customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any duties/taxes. (Original duties/taxes are not refundable.)
Timing:
• Once your return is received and approved, we usually process the refund within 3 business days.
• The time it takes for funds to appear depends on your bank or card provider.
5) Final sale / non-returnable items
For hygiene, production, and customization reasons, the following are final sale and cannot be returned (unless defective on arrival / confirmed manufacturing defect):
• Pierced earrings (hygiene rule — see below)
• Gift cards (gift cards are non-refundable)
• Engraved or personalized items
• Made-to-order / customized pieces
Note on purchases paid with a gift card:
• If an eligible item is returned and it was paid (fully or partially) with a gift card, the refunded amount is returned to the gift card.
Pierced earrings — hygiene rule
Pierced earrings are final sale and can’t be returned, even if tried on briefly.
Exception (manufacturing defect only):
If your pierced earrings arrive with a confirmed manufacturing defect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. We’ll review your case and make it right (replacement or refund, depending on the situation).
6) Holiday Gift Window (Nov 1 – Dec 31 → return until Jan 15)
Orders placed between November 1 and December 31 can be returned until January 15.
How it works:
• The same return conditions apply (item must be unworn, in original condition, and returned with original packaging).
• We do not offer exchanges. If you need a different size or style, return your item and place a new order.
• Pierced earrings are final sale and not eligible for return.
Gift-friendly details:
• We do not include printed receipts with prices in the package.
• If the recipient needs help, email us with the order number and we’ll guide the return.
7) How to start a return
To start a return request:
1. Fill in the Return Form on this page.
2. We’ll review your request and confirm whether it meets our calm return conditions.
3. If approved, we will email you a return shipping label (USA) and instructions.
If the return is due to our error or a confirmed defect, we’ll discuss the best solution with you and prioritize your case.
