BRACELET SIZING (CHAIN & FLEXIBLE)

FINDING YOUR PERFECT DRAPE

Unlike rigid bangles, a flexible chain bracelet interacts with the movement of your wrist. The perfect fit is a matter of personal preference—whether you prefer a piece that sits high and still, or one that has movement and drape.

STEP 1: MEASURE YOUR WRIST

  1. The Tool: Use a soft measuring tape (or a strip of paper and a ruler).

  2. The Position: Measure comfortably around your wrist bone, where you naturally wear a watch.

  3. The Technique: Pull the tape so it is snug against the skin, but not tight. This is your Wrist Circumference.

STEP 2: CHOOSE YOUR FIT

Add the following allowance to your Wrist Circumference to determine your final bracelet size.

THE ARCHITECTURAL FIT (+0.5")

  • The Look: Sits close to the skin and stays high on the wrist bone. Minimal movement.

  • Best For: Layering with other pieces or wearing under fitted sleeves.

  • Calculation: Wrist + 0.5 inches

THE STUDIO FIT (+0.75")

  • The Look: Our standard recommendation. The bracelet moves freely but does not slide too far down the hand.

  • Best For: Everyday wear and heavier chain links.

  • Calculation: Wrist + 0.75 inches

THE RELAXED DRAPE (+1.0")

  • The Look: A loose, casual fit that slides over the wrist bone and rests partially on the hand.

  • Best For: Delicate chains or statement styling.

  • Calculation: Wrist + 1.0 inch

STANDARD SIZE CHART

If you are purchasing a gift and cannot measure, these are our standard studio lengths:

  • Small: Fits wrists 6.0" – 6.5"

  • Medium: Fits wrists 6.5" – 7.0" (Most Common)

  • Large: Fits wrists 7.0" – 7.5"

  • Extra Large: Fits wrists 7.5" – 8.0"

STYLING ADVICE

  • Between Sizes? If you are between sizes, we always recommend sizing up for comfort. A slightly loose bracelet is elegant; a tight one is uncomfortable.

  • Clasps: Remember that toggle clasps (bar and ring) often require a slightly looser fit to fasten easily yourself.

2. Add Comfort Allowance • For a snug fit add 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) to your wrist measuremen

Still unsure?
If you’re choosing a gift or are between two sizes, Medium is a safe starting point for most wrists.
